A NuPhy discussion containing several keyboard generations cannot provide a single useful verdict on the Air75 V2. Isolate the V2 comments, then separate liking the typing feel from wanting a quieter desk setup.
This is an analysis of original, self-reported owner feedback, not a hardware specification review. The two public discussions below were read on 24 October 2026. We could not directly retrieve the manufacturer’s product and firmware pages during this research, so no claim about current firmware, compatibility, battery performance or included switches depends on those pages.
The praise and the reservations are specific
In a discussion requesting positive NuPhy experiences, an Air75 V2 respondent likes the tactile feel of their Moss-switch setup but considers the sound too intrusive for their office. Another respondent reports a favourable experience after replacing their original switches. The latter account describes a changed configuration, not necessarily the keyboard a new buyer receives.
In a separate value discussion, a V2 owner dislikes the stock-keycap typing experience and describes the sound as metallic. Other replies concern V1, V3, Halo and Node models; we do not transfer their praise or complaints to the V2.
Turn a sound preference into a useful comparison
Ask a reviewer which model and switch set they used, whether the keycaps were original and where the keyboard sat. A short recording without that context can be enjoyable to watch but difficult to compare with your own room. No sound-pressure measurements were available for the opinions used here.
Write down whether you need quiet shared-office typing, a particular tactile response or a compact travel arrangement. These priorities may conflict. A keyboard that feels satisfying to its owner can still be a poor match for that owner’s shared room, and a changed switch set may alter the experience enough that the original review no longer describes the setup.
Our view: use these comments to prepare questions for a seller or an authorised trial, not to calculate a satisfaction rate. Before purchase, obtain the exact offered configuration and current manufacturer support information. We have not established which alternative switches fit, whether a firmware change resolves an issue or whether the V2 outlasts another keyboard.
