Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s: Easy-Switch and Flow solve different tasks

The Pebble Keys 2 K380s can change typing devices with Easy-Switch, while Logitech Flow is a separate computer-to-computer workflow. Do not buy a multi-device keyboard assuming that one key will automatically switch every peripheral and application in your setup.

Logitech’s K380s getting-started guide describes pairing up to three devices and changing between them with a short Easy-Switch press. Its separate Flow section describes a compatible Logitech mouse moving between computers, with the keyboard following, and requires Options+ on both computers. The guide’s Bluetooth platform list is broader than this description of the Flow setup.

Decide what should move together

Write down one handoff you make frequently. Moving typing from a computer to a tablet is a different task from moving keyboard and mouse between two computers. Moving a file or a clipboard entry is another requirement again.

Desired handoff Check first
Type on another paired device The device’s Bluetooth support and an assigned Easy-Switch channel.
Move keyboard and mouse together between computers Compatible mouse, Flow configuration and Options+ requirements on both computers.
Use customised shortcuts Options+ availability and the target application’s expected keys.
Use a USB receiver instead of Bluetooth The exact receiver family and what the chosen package includes.

The same guide says a Logi Bolt receiver is included only with the Pebble 2 Combo. Treat a keyboard-only listing and a combo as different packages; do not infer receiver contents from a photograph of another bundle.

Give the channels meaningful names

For your own setup note, identify the computer or tablet assigned to each channel. This avoids confusing a channel number with an operating system or assuming the keyboard follows whichever screen currently has your attention. If a mouse is involved, record its switching method separately.

If your essential requirement is a manual typing switch, Easy-Switch may already answer it. If your essential requirement is a combined handoff, confirm the complete Flow setup before purchasing around that expectation. Software and device support should be checked against the actual computers, not merely the keyboard’s broad platform badge.
